A social media toolkit for our online reading volunteers

Use this toolkit to quickly and easily share your support for Chapter One!

The need for our programme is greater than ever due to the pressures families and children are under with the cost-of-living crisis. And the legacy of Covid school closures is still affecting young readers. You, our wonderful online reading volunteers, are Chapter One's best ambassadors! We would love you to help spread the word about the work you do to help transform children's futures by actively promoting it on your personal social media networks. You could post about the excitement of watching your student’s confidence soar, or reflect on how you are benefiting from the experience of reading with a child. Many volunteers tell us that reading with Chapter One gives them 30 minutes when they can switch off from the pressures of the working day and enjoy a meaningful 1:1 human connection.

If you are able to record short video testimonial or take a selfie during a reading session then even better!
