Corporate volunteers from across the country use a sophisticated internet platform and a voice connection to link from their workplace to a dedicated classroom laptop. Each volunteer meets virtually with their student for 30 minutes a week, during the school day, throughout the academic year. They read stories and play games that build fluency, comprehension, phonics and, most importantly, foster reading confidence and enjoyment.
